Smartgyro today announced the appointment of Alessio Loguercio as managing director. Loguercio most recently worked at Riva, where he spent nine years in international after-sales operations and service delivery.
“From my first interactions with the Smartgyro team, I was struck by the energy, commitment and pride that everyone brings to their work,” Loguercio said in a statement. “The culture is a real strength, and I am eager to build on it as we continue to expand Smartgyro’s global presence and guide the company into its next phase of development and innovation.”
With Riva, Loguercio worked with markets in Italy, the French Riviera, Monaco, the UAE, Turkey and the Balearic Islands.
Italy-based Smartgyro is part of the Yanmar Marine recreational business unit.
