Soundings Trade Only will host the 2020 Leadership Summit on Sept. 28 from 1 to 3:30pm. The free online event is in conjunction with IBEX Online: A Virtual Experience, which kicks off the next day.
Two dynamic business leaders will be featured. The first, Kim Coupounas, is the global ambassador for B Lab, a former chairman of the board of directors of the Outdoor Industries Association, and founder and CEO of GoLite outdoor apparel and equipment for the outdoor industry.
In an interview with Soundings Trade Only, Coupounas described B Lab as “a global movement of people using business as a force for good,” adding that Certified B Corps “are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.”
Joining Coupounas will be two Certified B Corp leaders: Ben Coniff, co-founder and CMO of Luke’s Lobster and Adrianne Chandra-Huff of Bohdi Surf + Yoga.
The other featured business leader is Amber Selking, who has a Ph.D. in Sports and Performance Psychology and is the founder of the Selking Performance Group. She also serves as the mental performance consultant to head coach Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame football team, is an adjunct professor at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame, and in 2018 joined Lippert Components as vice president of leadership and culture development.
The conversation will be moderated by Soundings Trade Only editor-in-chief Jeff Moser.

The format of the Leadership Summit will include interviews, speeches and a panel and
will conclude with the announcement of the winners of the Top 10 Most Innovative Marine Company Awards, where the overall winner will be announced (the order of the other nine winners and honorable mentions will be revealed in the November issue of Soundings Trade Only).
