Southern Marinas Holdings announced in a statement its purchase of Hayden Lake Marina in the Coeur d’Alene area of northwest Idaho.
“As we continue to expand our geographic footprint into the western U.S., Hayden Lake Marina complements our recent acquisition of Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle,” Andrew Gendron, principal and chief investment officer with Southern Marinas, said in the statement. “Being able to acquire the only marina on such a beautiful lake is a rare occurrence.”
In addition to public moorage, Hayden Lake Marina also has covered slips, winter storage, boat rentals, a ship’s store, fuel dock, service center and the Boathouse Bar and Grill.
This is Southern Marinas’ fourth acquisition this year. The marina management company — a partnership between a Denver-based private investment firm and Southern Marinas LLC — said it plans to close on several other properties by the end of the year.
