Sportsman Boats and Phenom Yachts yesterday announced the reorganization of its management team.
Sportsman co-founder and CEO Tommy Hancock will step down as president but remain CEO of Sportsman and sister brand Phenom. Russ Tomlinson, who most recently was vice president at Sportsman, will fill Hancock’s role as president.
“Stepping into the role of president at Sportsman Boats and Phenom Yachts is both an honor and an exciting challenge,” Tomlinson said in a statement. “As we journey forward, I am excited for our team to continue delivering world-class products and services. We are just getting started, and the best is yet to come.”
Chief financial officer Greg House announced his retirement and transition to a seat on the board of directors. Ken Grover will take over for House. Grover has been a part of the Sportsman/Phenom team as finance director since 2022.
Victor Gonzalez, who has been with the company since 2017, was promoted to chief marketing officer. He will oversee sales, marketing and customer service in his expanded role.
“I am thrilled to welcome Ken and Victor to our senior executive team,” Tomlinson said. “Their expertise and dedication are pivotal assets as we navigate the future of Sportsman Boats and Phenom Yachts.
“Together, we are poised to set new standards, drive innovation and chart an exciting course for the continued success of our organizations,” he added. “The new management structure reflects our commitment to innovation, excellence and a customer-centric approach.”
