The Chamber of Marine Industries of Sri Lanka is now a full member of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations.

The group was established to act on behalf of Sri Lanka’s recreational boating industry and to foster a favorable business climate in the country by creating and widening business opportunities in new markets.

“We are dedicated to developing the marine industry in Sri Lanka and as such we trust that our membership with ICOMIA will provide us with the right tools, information, contacts and guidance to do so,” Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa, chairman, The Chamber of Marine Industries of Sri Lanka, said in a statement. “We look forward to working with the ICOMIA team, getting involved and fostering greater relationships on a worldwide scale for us and our members.”
