Yachting Ventures today announced the judging panel for this year’s Metstrade Startup Pitch Competition. The competition is part of Yachting Ventures’ wider startup program at at the trade show, which allows emerging companies to increase their visibility, build commercial relationships and connect with decision-makers from across the global marine industry.
Metstrade is scheduled for Nov. 17-19 in Amsterdam.
“A strong pitch competition is about much more than choosing a winner. It’s about putting startups in front of people who can challenge their thinking, offer valuable industry insight and potentially open doors,” Yachting Ventures founder Gabbi Richardson said in a press release. “Our judges bring a wealth of experience from across the marine industry, and I’m looking forward to seeing the conversations and connections that come from the competition.”
Among this year’s judges: Edouard Fiess, Roel van der Zwet, Mark Rutgers, Matt Vranich, Philippa Drysdale, Floris Lettinga, Romain Devismes, Jelte Liebrand, Nicola Pomi and Roelof Borggreve.
The application period for the Startup Pitch Competition closes Aug. 31.
