Sunstream Boat Lifts CEO Ken Hey was elected to the National Marine Manufacturers Association’s Marine Accessory and Components Division board of directors.
“Sunstream has developed a cohesive team that collaborates to bring about new products every year,” Hey said in a statement. “I look forward to joining my peers in the NMMA MACD board of directors to advocate for the betterment of the industry.”
Hey is credited with inventing the first hydraulic boat lift, the SunLift, and the first hydraulic floating lift, the FloatLift, as well as the freestanding SunLift SLX for shallow water and the SwiftShield automatic boat cover.
The MACD board serves more than 600 member companies in the OEM and aftermarket segments. Its mission is to protect and grow boating through initiatives, public policy advocacy, and other measures.
