Suntex Marina Investors said it acquired Key Harbor Marina in Waretown, N.J.
Key Harbor Marina has 260 slips and can accommodate boats to 65 feet. The facility is in Ocean County, on Barnegat Bay. It is the first property along the Jersey Shore for Texas-based Suntex Marinas.
Bryan Redmond, chief executive of Suntex, said his company plans additional investments in the region.
The Jersey Shore is “continuing its run as one of the nation’s hottest second-home markets,” Redmond said in a statement. “This high demand and growing population create a market ripe for the exceptional service Suntex properties are known for.”
Key Harbor amenities include three climate-controlled bath houses, an on-site restaurant, a service department, a ship’s store, a 50-ton Travelift, and boat sales, the statement said.
