Suntex Marina Investors announced in a statement it acquired the Marinas at Little Harbor in Ruskin, Fla. Formerly known as Antigua Cove and Village Marina, the facility is in the Tampa Bay area.

“Adding a Tampa Bay location continues our efforts of making sure Suntex has the Florida coastline well-represented,” Suntex CEO Bryan C. Redmond said in a statement.

The marina, which includes slips for boats to 65 feet, has a drystack building that can accommodate 205 boats to 46 feet and outdoor racks for 33 boats. Located in an under-development resort community, the marina also has a restaurant and bar, patio and deck, and access to a private beach.

“Our plan for this property includes a number of upgrades and new customer amenities, such as expanding the dry storage and updating the fueling system,” said Sam Chavers, Suntex senior vice president.

The Suntex marina portfolio includes properties in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia.
