PHOTO COURTESY SUZUKIAmerican Boat & Yacht Council recognized Suzuki Marine USA’s technical center department manager Jason Stimmel with a service award during the organization’s annual meeting earlier this month.
Stimmel serves on the ABYC Marine Technical Committee and was honored for “conspicuous service through active participation on committees and boards that materially benefit the goals of ABYC,” according to a statement.
“We are very proud of Jason, not just for what he does for Suzuki Marine, but also for his dedication to making boating safer as a whole,” Brandon Cerka, general manager sales and service for Suzuki Marine USA, said in the statement. “Working alongside him over the past two years, we’ve seen Jason’s dedication and the priority he places on giving back to the industry. He certainly deserves this recognition, and all of us at Suzuki Marine congratulate him.”
Stimmel joined Suzuki in 2022 to manage the recently opened U.S. Marine Technical Center in Panama City, Fla.
