Suzuki Motor Corp. yesterday posted the results of its 2025 fiscal year, ended March 31.

The company said in a statement that consolidated net revenue was ¥6.3 trillion ($39.8 billion), an 8% increase from the prior year. Operating profit was down 3% and included an operating margin of 9.9%.

The company’s marine business posted revenues of ¥119.5 billion ($753.78 million) for the year, up 8.9% year-over-year. Operating profit decreased 13% year-over-year to ¥26.6 billion ($167.8 million). According to the statement, the reduced profit was driven mainly by the impact of U.S. tariffs.

The company is forecasting fiscal year 2026 consolidated revenue of ¥6.8 trillion ($42.9 billion) and operating profit of ¥570 billion ($3.6 billion).
