Suzuki posted third quarter and year-to-date results for fiscal 2024.

For the nine months ended Dec. 31, revenue increased ¥JPY$449.6 billion ($2.9 billion), an 11.7% year-over-year increase to ¥4,283.7 billion ($28 billion). This was attributable to increased unit sales, price revisions and the effect of foreign exchange rates. Operating profit increased ¥108.5 billion ($717.5 million), an increase of 29.2% year-over-year to ¥479.7 billion ($3.2 billion), the company said in a statement.

Marine segment year-to-date revenue decreased ¥4.3 billion ($28.4 million), a 5.1% year-over-year decline to ¥79.5 billion ($524.4 million). Operating profit increased ¥0.8 billion ($5.3 million), a 3.7% increase year-over-year to ¥22.3 billion ($147.8 million).

On the strength of its third-quarter results Suzuki, forecasts full-year revenues to be in the range of ¥5,700 billion ($37.6 billion), up from previous guidance calling for revenues of ¥5,600 billion ($36.7 billion).
