Teakdecking Systems today announced the appointment of Bryan Dodd as vice president of deck maintenance products. Dodd most recently served as president and CEO of UNECOL Adhesives North America, where he introduced European adhesive brands to the U.S. market.
“We’re excited to welcome Bryan to the TDS team,” CEO Richard Strauss said in a statement. “He brings an exceptional mix of strategic thinking and practical know-how. While his primary focus will be driving growth in the U.S. deck maintenance products division, his global experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to evolve our presence in Europe.”
Dodd joins Teakdecking at a time of strategic change, the statement said. As of June, the company has transitioned from a single, master deck maintenance products distributor model to managing its European distribution operations directly. Operating from its Spanish facility, the company is now building a network of regional distributors to offer better service and localized support.
