Technohull, the Greece-based builder of high-performance RIBs from 25 to 45 feet, has relocated to a new facility and headquarters in Lavrio, Greece.

The $22 million, purpose-built factory covers 129,000 square feet, with the capacity to expand to 172,000 square feet for increased production. Technohull said that the shipyard is designed for fully integrated production — from concept to launch — with investments such as a 65-foot, 5-axis router, micro-finishing, large paint booths and a post-curing oven.

The facility is about 20 minutes from Athens International Airport and will also house the builder’s technical support and service departments.
“Our new production facility represents one of the largest investments ever made in our sector in Greece and one of the largest internationally,” said CEO Gerasimos Petratos in a statement. “The new facility enables the company to further pursue its goals and establish a competitive presence in the global arena. This is the beginning of a new era for Technohull.”
