New Zealand-based Tectrax, a manufacturer of electric amphibious technology, announced a partnership with Vanclaes Trailers to be the exclusive European manufacturer for its Boat-Launcher. The company said the collaboration will deliver an electric, tow-vehicle-free launching solution engineered for the European maritime sector.

“It is clear there is a genuine appetite for smarter electric launching solutions,” Tectrax CEO James Morton said in a statement. “By partnering with Vanclaes, we are combining our high-performance electric drive systems with the most sophisticated trailer chassis in Europe to meet this demand with a locally manufactured product.”

Netherlands-based Vanclaes is known for stainless-steel construction and innovative designs. As the exclusive partner for mainland Europe, Vanclaes will manufacture custom chassis frames engineered to integrate the modular Tectrax wheel units.
