Nimbus Group announced that it partnered with HMY Yacht Sales to sell the Swedish builder’s boats on Florida’s east coast. HMY has 15 total dealerships, including 11 from the Keys to the Georgia border.
“The Florida market is an important one to tackle as we build our business here in the U.S., and we are thrilled to partner with such a strong industry leader whose capabilities and expertise in the Florida market will undoubtedly help us succeed,” Justin Joyner, Nimbus Group USA vice president, said in a statement.
Last June, Joyner became the company’s first executive with Nimbus Boats USA, and it opened its U.S. headquarters in Annapolis, Md., in August.
“The addition of Nimbus will add to HMY’s elite collection of new yacht brands,” Steve Moynihan, owner and president of HMY Yacht Sales, said in the statement. “We will initially showcase the T9, T11 and W9 models at the HMY Outboard Boating Center in North Palm Beach and at our Dania Beach, Fla., location.”
Nimbus said it plans to display at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, which is scheduled for March 23-26.
