TopSide Marinas yesterday announced the acquisition of April Plaza Marina in Montgomery, Tex., on Lake Conroe.

The marina, which underwent renovations in 2018, has slips for boats up to 30 feet, a ship store, fuel dock and other amenities. It is the second largest and longest operating marina on Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Tex.

“We are excited to complete our fifth acquisition in our ‘backyard,’ ” TopSide Marinas director of investments Thomas Joy said in a statement. “We approach each of our acquisitions as a unique opportunity to build upon the personality each marina has established, and we look forward to continuing on the traditions and legacy of April Plaza Marina.”

The purchase of April Plaza Marina marks the TopSide’s fifth marina acquisition since 2021.
