Torqeedo announced today changes to its executive management. By mutual agreement, Fabian Bez no longer represents the electric propulsion manufacturer as CEO and will leave the board. Heiko Vietmeier will take that position in addition to his role as CFO.
The company will also downsize its board from three members to two: Vietmeier and Takayuki Sato.
“We would like to express our sincere thanks to our colleague Fabian Bez for his dedication. With his support, Torqeedo has made decisive progress,” Vietmeier said in a statement. “We wish him all the best for his future professional and personal endeavors.”
Yamaha acquired Torqeedo last April.
