The husband-and-wife team of captains Branson and Megan Mosier are the new owners of TowBoatUS Jordan Lake and TowBoatUS Falls Lake near Raleigh, N.C. The upcoming boating season will be the Mosiers’ first after purchasing the locations from Capt. Seth Owens.
“I’ve always had a love for the water,” Branson said in a statement. “I told myself, ‘If the business ever came up for sale, I’d like to own it.’” He earned his U.S. Coast Guard license in 2013 and worked as a part-time captain for Owens.
The Mosiers keep one 20-foot towboat at Crosswinds Marina on Jordan Lake and another at Rolling View Marina on Falls Lake. The third is kept on a trailer to serve boaters at Harris Lake in New Hill, N.C.
