BoatUS yesterday announced that a TowBoatUS location has opened on Kentucky Lake in Danville, Tenn. The franchise is owned and operated by Capt. Bob McMackins.
“As boating demand continues to grow in the area, opening TowBoatUS Danville was a natural next step,” McMackins said in a statement. “Expanding our footprint means faster response times and reliable assistance for boaters who rely on us when their day on the water doesn’t go as planned.”
Served by two 19-foot response boats and four Coast Guard-licensed captains, the port provides such on-water services as towing, fuel delivery, soft ungroundings and jump-starts.
