The New Bern service has a 25-foot response vessel that will be located at Duck Creek Marina in Bridgeton, N.C.
“There’s more boating activity — skiing, tubing, fishing — in New Bern,” Deaton said in a statement. “I see opportunity. It’s the right move to better serve our BoatUS members and customers.”
Deaton added that the New Bern location will reduce response times.
