TowBoatUS announced that it named its Savannah, Ga., location Tower of the Year. Capt. Dana Rutland helms TowBoatUS Savannah, which received the honor out of 160 independently owned towing outfits.
“The captains and staff at TowBoatUS Savannah are known for their exceptional service and professionalism,” towing services manager Chris Dolan said in a statement. “This award reflects the dedication of [the] captains and crew who show up every day to help boaters get home safely, no matter the weather or water conditions.”
The Tower of the Year Award considers a local TowBoatUS company’s membership sales, on-water digital dispatch response rate and service ratings from customer surveys. TowBoatUS Savannah captains received an 98.2% excellent rating from those who were provided routine assistance last year. The business has six response vessels.
