Crest Pontoons is looking to support local career and technical education programs in its community of Owosso, Mich., by donating a new, Classic LX 200SLC boat with 60-hp Mercury outboard and trailer to Owosso High School’s Career and Technical Education raffle.
As it has in previous years, the school expects the $100 raffle tickets to raise more than $50,000 toward its career and technical programming.
Over the last four years, proceeds were used for equipment and programming, including the construction of its Agricultural Science Greenhouse & Garden, new woodworking and welding equipment, a John Deere tractor, various power tools for construction trades and more.
“We strive to continuously push the boundaries of innovation through our skilled men and women building and perfecting our boat designs,” said Crest Pontoons president Patrick May in a statement. “We look forward to the long-lasting relationship between Crest Pontoons and Owosso High School’s vocational programs.”
