
Boat Fix, a recreational boating telematics company, has been chosen as an approved tracking provider for Markel insurance policyholders. Boat Fix provides remote monitoring, GPS tracking, geofencing and round-the-clock customer support.
Under the collaboration, new boat rental customers insured by Markel can subscribe to the Boat Fix service and receive monitoring and tracking at no additional cost as well as savings on premiums. Rental fleet policyholders that have already installed the device and subscribed to Boat Fix services can be eligible for a discount at renewal.

The Boat Fix System provides continuous remote monitoring of all vital functions of a boat including battery, bilge pump, shore power and engine hours. GPS tracking and geofencing provides anti-theft and unauthorized use solutions. If a problem occurs, an alert is immediately sent to a Boat Fix advisor as well as the Boat Fix phone app where a user can see what is happening. Boat Fix also provides free, unlimited telephone support for technical and mechanical problems.
