ValvTect gave its 2015 Marina of the Year award to Harbour Town Yacht Basin on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
ValvTect said Harbour Town is one of the premier marinas on the eastern seaboard and one of the most recognized lighthouses in the nation.
Each year ValvTect Petroleum presents its Marina of the Year award at the International Marina & Boatyard Conference. It is given to a certified ValvTect marina that exhibits outstanding customer service, community involvement, environmental stewardship and excellent marketing of ValvTect marine fuels.
“This year we had a record number of marinas who submitted applications. If it were up to me, we would present the award to almost every one of the 750 ValvTect marinas, but we can only present the ValvTect Marina of the Year award to only one outstanding marina, and this year that marina is Harbour Town Yacht Basin,” ValvTect Petroleum president Marvin Griffin said in a statement.
