Baxter Marine Group, which owns the Vessel Vanguard maintenance program, this week announced the sale of the software-as-a-service platform to BHH Marine. Vessel Vanguard is designed for owners, captains and crewmembers to simplify maintenance, operations and safety management.
“We’ve set a new benchmark with Vessel Vanguard over the past three years, and we’re pleased to entrust its future to BHH Marine,” Baxter CEO Rick Heine said in a statement. “Their commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the maritime industry gives us confidence that they will continue to support Vessel Vanguard’s loyal customers and drive the platform forward.”
BHH Marine is led by Brian Hagan, an entrepreneur, executive, captain and marine enthusiast.
“We are excited to bring Vessel Vanguard into the BHH Marine family. The platform has set the gold standard in preventive maintenance tracking across the maritime sector,” Hagan said in the statement. “We are eager to build on its success with further innovation that makes boating safer, more efficient and a better experience for everyone.”
