Vetus has appointed Nicholas Desbordes as engine sales manager for France. He assumed the role May 1 and is responsible for overseeing the sales of diesel and electric propulsion systems with a focus on aftermarket services.
Desbordes has 18 years of experience in the marine industry and joins Vetus from Navico Group, where he spent six years in sales focusing on marine electronics and electrical products.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nicholas to his new position, as the Vetus brand expands in both the OEM and aftermarket sectors, supporting our customers has never been more crucial,” Thijs Boegheim, Vetus sales director, EMEA, said in a statement. “With Nicholas’ wide-ranging professional background and industry experience, he is well-equipped to deliver high quality aftercare services that our customers need.”
Added Desbordes, “I am very excited about my new role as engine sales manager at Vetus. With my extensive background in the marine industry, I will take on the company’s sales efforts in this key market, working closely with the French team to further enhance Vetus and Maxell’s market share and presence.”
