Building on a robust year of sales in 2021, Viking Yacht Co. and Valhalla Boatworks last week reported that it saw record sales and attendance at its first two shows of the 2022 season: the Viking and Valhalla VIP Show and the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.

“It was a fantastic February for us, just phenomenal,” Viking president and CEO Pat Healey said in a statement. “What we’re building today is the best in the industry, and it has taken a lot of hard work by many talented, smart people — from design and production to sales and service.”

The VIP Show was held Feb. 4-5 at the Viking Yacht Service Center in Riviera Beach, Fla. Viking said the event drew 1,000 guests, dealers and vendors. The builder reported that 24 boats were sold: 11 Vikings and 13 Valhallas.

The Viking and Valhalla MIBS display at One Herald Plaza in downtown Miami also was busy, hosting more than 7,000 visitors during the show’s five-day run. Eight Vikings and 11 Valhallas from 33 to 90 feet were sold.

“We’re going to keep pushing,” Healey said. “There’s no slowing down when you’re committed to building a better boat every day.”
