Canadian electric boat and powertrain manufacturer Vision Marine Technologies appointed Carter Murray chairman of its board of directors. Murray will work directly with CEO Alexandre Mongeon. “The appointment of Carter is a game-changer for Vision Marine and a clear indication of the company’s continued drive toward excellence and innovation,” Mongeon said in a statement.
Murray has experience in leading transformations at multinational companies. He joins the Vision leadership team as the company takes orders for its new powertrain from boatbuilders around the world. “Vision Marine is the most innovative marine technology company in the market today. … I am thrilled to join the board of this forward-thinking company,” Murray said.
