Vision Marine announced this week it has partnered with Massimo Marine to produce a 30-foot electric pontoon platform for commercial and recreational markets. The partnership is part of Vision’s shift to offer electric boats directly to consumers.

“This product is the result of years of requests from nautical bases and operators who have been asking for a reliable, turnkey electric solution,” Vision CEO Alexandre Mongeon said in a statement. “With this partnership, we aim to bridge the gap efficiently, delivering what the industry has long demanded.”

Massimo Marine’s production facilities in Garland, Texas, are expected to be engaged in delivering the pontoons to market at scale.

“We’re proud to be partnering with Vision Marine’s innovative propulsion solution to bring truly efficient electric propulsion systems to the commercial and recreational space,” Massimo Group CEO David Shan said in the statement.

In mid-November, Vision Marine announced a manufacturing partnership with Smoker Craft.
