MMG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seattle Yachts, has acquired SeaPiper, a compact trawler that’s popular in the Pacific Northwest.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring this innovative and exciting brand into the Seattle Yachts family,” managing partner Peter Whiting said in a statement. “And we are committed to maintaining SeaPiper’s reputation for quality and excellence.”
SeaPiper production will be moved to MMG’s facility in Anacortes, Wash., to streamline operations. Northern Marine, Legacy Yachts and Bullfrog Boats also are built at this location.
