Charlotte, N.C.-based Wichard USA announced that it hired Kurt Bodnar as sales manager. Parent company Wichard Group is headquartered in France and is a manufacturer and distributor of sailing hardware and deck fittings.
“We are very happy to have Kurt join our team as we continue to grow our business in North America,” Wichard USA general manager Kevin Coughlin said in a statement. “Recreational marine is a core market for our company, and having an industry veteran like Kurt will help us continue to service the customers at the highest level for all our products.”
Bodnar previously spent 23 years at Defender Industries, which “provided him with years of marine business interactions and a solid basis for his new role,” Coughlin added.
