Windward Marina Group completed its acquisition of Day Break Marina in Pensacola, Fla., through a deal arranged by SVN Marinas. The full-service marina on Bayou Chico includes forklifts, dredging equipment, on-site fueling and a complete ship store.
“Day Break Marina has a long and cherished history in Pensacola, and this partnership ensures that its legacy will remain in the hands of the Adams family while being supported by Windward Marina Group,” said David Kendall, senior adviser at SVN Marinas, in a statement. “It was a privilege to represent such an iconic property and to connect it with a partner whose vision aligns with the community’s values and future.”
Originally established by the Adams family and later operated by Day Break Marina, the marina has run for more than 35 years. The statement said that the Adams family would continue its operational involvement through the marina’s new partnership with Windward Marina Group.
