World Cat Boats announced today the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce named it the winner of the annual “Coolest Thing Made in N.C.” competition in the medium-size business category. Now in its fifth year, the contest spotlights North Carolina-made products that exemplify creativity, quality and local economic impact. World Cat earned first place among statewide nominations.
“Congratulations to Siemens Mobility, World Cat Boats and Ordway Glass Co. for winning the 2025 ‘Coolest Thing Made in NC’ title,” chamber president and CEO Gary Salamido said in a statement.
Headquartered in Tarboro, with additional production in Greenville, World Cat builds outboard-powered center console and dual console models from 23 to 40 feet.
