Electric-boat builder X Shore has partnered with Safe Harbor Marinas to provide members access to Eelex 8000 models.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Safe Harbor Marinas to encourage more boating enthusiasts to experience 100% silent, high-performance electric boats,” X Shore CEO Jenny Keisu said in a statement. “Our organizations share a passion for the water and a deep commitment to sustainability.”
Safe Harbor members have access to the electric boats at marinas in San Diego; Charleston, S.C.; Montauk, N.Y.; Newport, R.I.; and West Palm Beach, Fla.; as well as pop-up locations throughout the company’s marina network.
“Throughout our nationwide events, Safe Harbor Experiences, the members have had the opportunity to experience these environmentally friendly electric boats firsthand,” Rebecca LeBlanc, vice president of partnerships and experiences at Safe Harbor, said in the statement. “As a direct result, they are highly anticipating the addition of this amenity to our different marinas across the country.”
