Sweden-based electric-boat builder X Shore announced that operations at its Nyköping, Sweden, factory have resumed after restructuring. Following a bankruptcy filing in January, new ownership is in place, with the “financial backing needed to move forward properly,” according to a statement from CEO René Hansen.
“We have a clear and aligned vision, an operating structure in place, which ensures the stability needed to propel X Shore towards a legacy brand,” Hansen said in the statement. “The production at our facility in Nyköping is fully operational.”
X Shore said it is ready to support customers with service and parts, and will re-engage with customers, dealers and suppliers.
