Verberne’s marketing experience started with Oceanmax, now Propspeed, where she grew the brand internationally. Additional experience includes marketing for London-based Meristem Design, an urban greening startup, and the charity Business Launchpad.
“As our business continues to grow, we recognized the need for someone with extensive marketing expertise to cater to our growing North American client base,” YESSSS joint CEO Nona Pedersen said in a statement. “Having previously worked with Eve, I was certain that her capabilities and international marketing experience made her perfect for the role and our YESSSS team. She has worked with marine distributors, dealers, shipyards and end users, enabling her to understand their needs.”
Returning to New Zealand, Verberne worked for McKay in the marine and electrotechnology sector, contributing to marketing efforts related to Ika Rere, the first electric passenger ferry in the Southern Hemisphere.
“I am eager to dive into the role as marketing director for the North America,” Verberne said in the statement. “With my previous experience in marketing, both within and outside of the marine industry, I hope to bring fresh ideas and really drive results for our clients.”
