National Sales Manager Overview:
Carolina Skiff LLC is seeking an experienced and driven National Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across the country. This role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with the dealer network, and driving revenue growth in alignment with the company’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the marine industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to manage an inside and outside sales team. This individual will report directly to the President and other appointees. This position is primarily based out of our home office in Waycross, GA. However, some travel will be involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy to increase market share and revenue.
- Work directly with sales team and management to identify new Dealer opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships with Dealers by providing product sales training.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate internal and external sales personnel to exceed target goals.
- Conduct research to identify new sales/marketing/advertising opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional campaigns and sales materials.
- Track performance, and present insights to senior management on dealer network health & development.
- Attend boat shows and industry events/Proficiency in building sales analytics.
- Travel with Sales representatives visiting with new and existing Dealers in each representatives’ territory.
- Train Reps to convey to the Dealer and their team that we’re a true partner and always finding ways to improve our products and relationship.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the marine or related industry.
- Strong multi-tasking leadership skills with experience in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Knowledge of boat manufacturing and industry trends.
- Ability to travel as needed.
