Azimut Yachts said it appointed D’Albora Marine as its exclusive dealer for Australia.
The dealer is part of the d’Albora Marinas Group, which has 10 marinas, full-service boatyards and drystack storage facilities in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
“We have always considered Australia to be one of the highest potential markets in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Marco Valle, Azimut Yachts CEO, in a statement. “D’Albora, with its large in-house marina and customer support network, is the best possible partner for us to succeed in such a demanding market.”
Matt Walford, who heads D’Albora, has worked with other luxury motoryacht brands in Australia. He held the position of business development manager with Austal, a leading Australian shipbuilder. Walford said the Atlantis 45 will be the first boat to arrive from Azimut.
