Azimut-Benetti said its order backlog in 2021 exceeded €2 billion ($2.1 billion) for the first time. The record-breaking orders were the result of the introduction of new models that include Azimut’s 38-metre Grande Trideck and Benetti’s Oasis 40M and B.Now 50M, the Italian builder said in a statement yesterday.

The company said the two brands’ “diversified product portfolio” also contributed to the group’s performance.

“I think the key to our success in recent years has once again been the combination of courage and enthusiasm with which the company as a whole has sought to push the boundaries — in new models, in manufacturing excellence, and in new, sustainable technologies,” said Giovanna Vitelli, Azimut-Benetti Group vice president. “Our efforts have been repaid with significant results, which we will invest in further incredible novelties that we are already working on, as well as in sustainable growth and in our people.”

The builder said it booked 20 orders for the Oasis 40M and 15 for the B.Now 50M.
