Italian yacht builder Azimut appointed Daniele Romiti general manager. Romiti reports to Azimut-Benetti Group CEO Marco Valle, the company said in a statement this morning.
Romiti previously was an aeronautical engineer and CEO of helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland, general manager of Alenia Aermacchi in the aeronautics sector, and managing director at components provider Adler Peltzer Group.
Romiti said he is “determined to make my own contribution to the growth path embarked on by the company and given an additional boost by a series of major investments.”
Azimut said the appointment is part of its development and growth plan.
