U.K. dealership Bates Wharf Marine will be renamed Azimut Yachts U.K. The dealership has been working with the Italian builder for the last six years, and Azimut the United Kingdom is a “rapidly expanding market.”
The change takes effect with the boat shows in Cannes, France, and Southampton, England, in September.
“We always put our customers first and foremost in all we do, and having a partner who shares this philosophy and approach is essential for us,” Jad Zakkak Migliorini, Europe head of sales and delivery operations for Azimut, said in a statement. “We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Bates Wharf Marine because we trust in the commitment and abilities of such a historical and prominent player in the English market.”
Bates managing director Richard Bates added: “We feel that this is the right time to concentrate on this exciting brand and to take the lead through our U.K. network of offices in becoming the official U.K. Azimut Yachts dealership, supplying yachts on a retail basis directly to our clients.”
