Azimut|Benetti Group announced the appointment of Andrea Antichi as general manager for the Azimut division.
“Bringing both experience and managerial vision, Andrea will make a decisive contribution in guiding a new phase of growth, in making production processes even more efficient, and in continuing to raise our quality standards,” CEO Marco Valle said in a statement.
Antichi previously was chief manufacturing officer at automaker Ferrari. He will report to Valle.
“After 19 years at Ferrari, a symbol of Italian automotive excellence in the world, I have chosen to come aboard the excellence of the yachting sector,” Antichi said in the statement.
