
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s aired their first Super Bowl commercial during the National Football League’s championship game Sunday, a message about nature’s healing power, the companies said in a statement.
The 60-second spot, titled “Get Back to Nature,” shows people fishing, boating, camping and participating in other outdoor pursuits. The voiceover tells viewers that the “great outdoors are wide open,” and “to get back to nature” and “connect with the ones we love the most.”
“If there is a bright spot in these challenging times, it’s that more families are discovering the outdoors than ever before,” Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris said. “Casting a line on the water, hiking in the woods and camping out under the stars provide us all with much more than social distancing.”
