Beneteau Leadership Takes Office

The company has a new group CEO and chairman, as well as a new CEO of the boat division, after last week’s annual meeting

Bruno Thivoyon is the new chief executive officer of Groupe Beneteau, the company announced in a statement after its annual meeting last week.

Thivoyon replaces CEO Jérôme de Metz, who announced his retirement in April.

Beneteau also announced that Gianguido Girotti was appointed deputy CEO and CEO of the company’s boat division.

Yves Lyon-Caen was elected chairman of the board, and Louis Claude Roux will continue as vice-chairman. Marie-Hélène Dick is a new independent director, replacing Metz, whose term of office expired. Director Catherine Pourre was renewed for an additional term.
