Groupe Beneteau announced that it appointed Thibaud Maudet to head Jeanneau America. He joined Jeanneau in 2014 as an international sales representative for the Jeanneau and Prestige brands.

Maudet will hold the title of vice president and will oversee all operations for Jeanneau. He replaces Samuel Dubois and will be based at Jeanneau America headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“I am privileged to work alongside a very talented team which has achieved a long track record of success here in the Americas,” Maudet said in a statement. “And with the support of Groupe Beneteau on one side and our strong network of dealers on the other, we have a strong base to focus on what we do best — build great sailing and powerboats for our customers.”

Groupe Beneteau added that Jeanneau is launching three models in October. The Jeanneau 55 debuts at the Annapolis Sail Boat Show, which is scheduled for Oct. 12-15, and the DB/37 and Leader 9.0-S2 powerboats will launch at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which is scheduled for Oct. 25-29.
