Benetti Yachts recently delivered two new yachts from its Fast 125’ line, Skyler and Constance Joy, to owners who are MarineMax clients.
Each boat is equipped with a propulsion system designed by Rolls-Royce for the Fast 125’ series — the Azipull Carbon 65, a lightweight steerable thruster made primarily from carbon fiber.
Benetti said the system offers a quiet ride because the engine room can be placed farther aft and it improves maneuverability when underway or while docking.
The boats also share the D2P Displacement to Planing hull form, which has a wave-piercing bow so the operator can use the yacht in displacement mode with low fuel consumption at low speeds and run on plane at higher speeds.
Both boats were built in Benetti’s shipyard in Viareggio, Italy, and were constructed with a superstructure made of carbon and epoxy resin.
Constance Joy was the second Fast 125’ to be sold and is recognized by her red hull. Skyler is a four-deck semi-wide-body boat with five cabins.
The exterior of the yachts was designed by Stefano Righini and the interiors were from Redman Whiteley Dixon.
