Italian builder Benetti Yachts said it sold a new custom superyacht with the 154-foot FB703.
The company said the superyacht will be built with a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure and is scheduled to be launched in February 2019 and delivered in June of that year.
Benetti said it will do the exterior design and naval architecture. The interiors will be done by Mexican designer Mauricio Gomez de Tuddo, who is collaborating with Benetti for the first time.
Above decks, the superyacht has an open concept, Benetti said. Below decks, she will accommodate 12 guests in six cabins. The owner’s suite features a full-beam layout and is forward on the main deck, with a centrally placed head and separate his and hers closets.
The owner of the FB703 is a previous Benetti client.
“The fact that, yet again, a previous Benetti owner has come back for another yacht is further confirmation that we have worked well in the past and can guarantee quality in the future,” Benetti CCO Fabio Ermetto said in a statement.
“This sale is a sign of the commercial success that we are currently enjoying, a success that comes from our capacity to listen closely to our clients’ needs and from the quality of workmanship that we can count on to make our owners’ dreams come true.”
