Boston Whaler introduced its new Dauntless lineup for 2014, which includes a new 210 and 240 as well as a 170 and the flagship 270.
“The new Dauntless family is the embodiment of a clever transformation,” Boston Whaler VP of sales, marketing and customer service Jeff Vaughn said. “The Dauntless lineup has long been appreciated for its ability to multitask. It’s now better equipped than ever to do it all — to inspire your own family’s next chapter.”
The new 210 Dauntless and 240 Dauntless have the option of an all-activity tower with a ski pylon and racks and feature a swim platform so swimmers can keep a safer distance from the prop while in the water.
The flagship 270 Dauntless features flip-up backrests and storage under the bow seats. A forward lounge seat features fold-down armrests and a lockable storage compartment with space for fishing rods, two 5-gallon buckets, dive tanks and additional gear. Options include a 30-gallon live well, a sink, rod holders and a raw-water washdown.
In the aft section, the 270 features a flip-up stern seat with a backrest that transforms to an elevated non-skid platform.
On Dauntless models from the 170 up to the 240 anglers can choose a reversible pilot seat with a live well or additional storage. All Dauntless models offer available Raymarine navigation packages. The 210 features a bow sun lounge option.
All Dauntless models feature aft seating that transforms into a full-width casting platform.
“The new Dauntless family was designed with active families in mind,” Vaughn said. “We know that our customers are passionate about a wide range of activities and they expect a boat to deliver not just functionality, but also enjoyment. The new Dauntless models accomplish that by offering more versatility, more amenities and greater ease of use than ever. We are excited to see what stories these boats inspire.”
