Brunswick Corp. recently organized two Covid-19 vaccine events at their facilities, the company announced.
Brunswick’s Lowe boatbuilding facility in Lebanon, Mo., held an on-site event while the company’s Lund facility in New York Mills, Minn., partnered with the Otter Tail County Public Health department in the North Star State to create a Point of Dispensing community event.
All local Brunswick employees were eligible to receive the vaccine, as well as employees’ family and other community members.
“We’re a small community; we rely heavily on each other, so while helping our employees, we wanted to help out the community, as well,” said Brian Hines, Brunswick New York Mills vice president of operations. “Although we aren’t requiring employees to get the vaccine, we want to make the opportunity available to them and make it as easy as possible.”
Additional Brunswick-sponsored vaccination clinics are being planned.
